I realize I have not provided an update on my BG3 adventures and a few of you seemed invested, so...
I now have around 420 hours in the game (a little over 10 work weeks full of gameplay), I have two concurrent playthroughs in progress and 6 or 7 finished, I have many mods installed, my Tavs are beautiful, I'm playing on tactician, and I keep romancing Gale and Astarion to experience various permutations of the relationship. I have also considered making a side blog for this specific interest because I have nowhere to contain my feelings about it 😭
Turnaround of a few hours isn’t so bad, you can find the side blog @m1stystep!!!

My alma mater just shared a graphic about how JSTOR has "over 3,000 articles." That feels like a big understatement. @jstor, how many articles do you actually have?
Hi! JSTOR provides access to more than 12 million journal articles, books, images, and primary sources in 75 disciplines.
Perhaps the graphic is referring to the articles your alma mater is able to access under its current subscription?

JSTOR, my beloved -
I found the most banger quote in an article. While the article correctly attributed the quote's author, they misattributed the book. Guess who had the right book in their stores???! YOU! I now have access to the full (correct!!) book and can properly cite this banger quote.
I am INORDINATELY please and you have saved this particular chapter of my thesis. MWAH. <3
This is the kind of serendipity we live for 🤩

For thee who seeks in JSTOR’s boundless troves,
Where knowledge’s streams in quiet wisdom flow,
Each page a world, each article bestows
The light of erudite scholars aglow.
In digital realms, where past and present merge,
Thy quest for understanding never tires,
Through ancient texts and modern surges,
Fueling the heart with scholarly desires.
O valiant seeker of the truths untold,
In JSTOR’s garden, wisdom’s fruits are ripe.
Thy mind, a vessel, eager to behold
The secrets held in every archetype.
So sail on, through academic seas so vast,
In JSTOR’s embrace, thy thirst quenched at last.
We were feeling a little nervous about posting these images of arteries and veins...
These are all 18th-century engravings—and some are engravings based on other engravings, so don't go using them as maps or anything, who knows how many inaccuracies were introduced over time. Wanna see more? Follow this link to images by William Cowper and prepare to be amazed.
