I am happy to announce JSTOR Teaching Resources, a website that brings together a set of new tools designed to help educators integrate JSTOR into the classroom and students to improve their research skills. The available resources currently include:
JSTOR Classroom Readings, intended to help teachers locate articles on JSTOR for classroom use, using filters for topic, length of article, and reading level.
Understanding Shakespeare, which enables scholars to link directly from lines in plays to the articles on JSTOR that mention them.
Research Basics for High School Students, a self-paced, online research skills course for college-bound high school students.
All of the teaching resources are open and free for anyone to use. Where the resources link to articles on JSTOR, full access may depend on institutional participation in JSTOR or an individual account. However, the majority of the articles are also available for free online reading through Register & Read.
